assessment. <br />The CONSULTANT shall furnish services to collect, test and analyze geotechnical data <br />and information to develop a sand source for beach nourishment along the shoreline <br />areas identified as Sector's 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 as defined in the County's BPF.. <br />The CONSULTANT shall furnish services to determine the aerial extent of the <br />hardbottom/reef biological resources in the nearshore areas likely to he impacted by <br />the proposed beach nourishment projects identified for 'Sector's 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 <br />! (within the BPP and the BPF - Economic Analysis of Project Benefits and Cost <br />Allocation Plan.) An evaluation of the potential impacts on the hardbottomlreef <br />biological communities as the result of beach placement and/or redistribution shall be <br />performed. ,taps sliall be provided depicting the hardbottorn in compatible software <br />with ACAI7 and ARC View formats. <br />The CONSULTANT shall develop project plans and design requirements to implement <br />the objectives of the beach improvement program described in the Heath Preservation <br />Plan in Sector's 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7. Flans shall be adequate for County to apply fcr all <br />required permits from State and Federal agencies <br />The CONSUL rANT shall develop the construction costs Or estimated cost for all <br />elements of the Project's designed or specified by the CONSULTANT along the <br />C:OUNTY's beaches in Sector's 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7. <br />D. The CONSULTANT will endeavor "to duplicate any previous work clone related to <br />the prOjeo, After issuance of the nOtice-trrproceed, theCONSULTANT Owil meet with <br />the COUNTY to clarify and define the COUNTY'S requirement% for the project anti <br />review all available data. <br />I . The CONSULTANT will attc,ntl all the C+OUN1Y public hearings, workshop$ and any <br />other relatcrcl meetings pertinent to the project. <br />F. In order to accomplislâ–º the work set forth under this Agreement M the time framri and <br />conditions described, the CONSUL, IANT will observe the following requirements: <br />1. The CONSULTANT will complete the work on the project within tine time <br />allowed by maintaining an adequate staff al all times qualified to perform such <br />work. <br />2. The CONSULTANT will comply with all Federal, State and Local laws <br />applicable to this project. The CONSULTANT will complete the project in such <br />a manner as to be in conformance with all applicable Federal, State & Local <br />laws. <br />3. The CONSULTANT will prepare and complete all necessary documents, <br />reports, and other related information pertinent to the project. <br />4. The CONSULTANT will provide a complete copy of the findings report to any <br />City, County, State or Federal regulatory agency from which approval is <br />required. <br />5. The CONSULTANT will cooperate fully with the COUNTY through all phases <br />of work. <br />3 <br />
