y-a�-99 11.9 <br />DEP Contract No. 98IR1 <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION <br />AND COASTAL <br />FLORAIDAOBEACHCHES EROS ON CONTROL PROGERAM RECEIVED <br />Project Agreement MAY 2 4 1999 <br />Amendment N1 CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />This AMENDMENT by and between the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (hereinafter referred to as the "DEPARTMENT") <br />and Indian River County (hereinafter referred to as the "LOCAL <br />SPONSOR"), serves to amend that Project Agreement between the <br />DEPARTMENT and LOCAL SPONSOR dated August 28th, 1998, pertaining to <br />the Ambersand/Nabasso Beach Restoration Project, formerly known as the <br />North County Shore Protection Project, (hereinafter referred to as the <br />"PROJECT"). <br />The DEPARTMENT and LOCAL SPONSOR hereby agree to the following <br />changes and additions: <br />Paragraph 5 of the PROJECT Agreement is hereby revised to read as <br />follows: <br />5. The DEPARTMENT and the LOCAL SPONSOR agree that the <br />estimated costs of the project are: <br />Task ESTIMATED PROJECT COSTS <br />N Eligible PROJECT Items State Local Total <br />1. The DEPARTMENT's financial obligation shall not exceed the <br />sum of $184,738 for this PROJECT or 508 of the PROJECT cost for the <br />specific eligible PROJECT items listed above, which ever is less. The <br />DEPARTMENT and the LOCAL SPONSOR agree that any and all activities <br />associated with the PROJECT that are not shown in the above eligible <br />PROJECT items listing are the responsibility of the LOCAL SPONSOR and <br />are not a part of this Agreement. The LOCAL SPONSOR agrees that any <br />costs for the specific eligible PROJECT items which exceed the <br />estimated PROJECT costs for that item shall be the responsibility of <br />the LOCAL SPONSOR.
