RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 018 <br />1296082 nd Court within Block 9, and 12970 and 12980 82nd Court within Block 10, of the Townsite <br />Plat of Roseland, Florida, located within unincorporated Indian River County, Florida, was <br />necessary to promote the public welfare of the County; and <br />WHEREAS, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, the Board held a public hearing at which time <br />and place the owners of property to be assessed could appear before the Board to be heard as <br />to the property and advisability of making such improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, after such public hearing was held, the Board adopted Resolution No. 2021- <br />30, which confirmed the special assessment cost of the project to the property specially benefited <br />by the project in the amounts listed in the attachments to that resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, now that the project has been completed, the Director of Utility Services has <br />certified the actual "as -built" cost to be less than the cost in confirming Resolution No. 2021-30. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />To avoid interest and penalty charges, payment may be made within ninety days after <br />passage of this resolution (Resolution No. 2023- 018 ) <br />1. Payments bearing interest at the rate of % per annum may be made in ten <br />annual installments and are proposed to be collected on the annual tax bill, per section 197.3632, <br />Florida Statutes. <br />2. The final assessment roll for the project listed in Resolution No. 2023- 018 shall <br />be shown on the attached Exhibit "A". <br />3. The assessment, as shown on the attached Exhibit "A", shall stand confirm, and <br />will remain legal, valid, and binding first liens against the property against which such <br />assessments are made until paid. <br />K <br />
