Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />Beth Powell, Director Parks and Recreation <br />From: Joseph Tilton, Recreation Manager <br />Subject: Work Order Number 1— Continuing Engineering Services <br />RFQ 2023015— Victor Hart Sr. Enhancement Complex <br />Restroom and Concession Facility <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 17, 2023, the Interim County Administrator, Michael Zito, under his authority, signed <br />Work Order Number 3, pursuant to the Continuing Services Contract Agreement dated April 17, <br />2018 (renewed and amended on May 18, 2021) RFQ 2018008 for the conceptual design of <br />improvements at the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex in the amount of <br />$3,300. Work included concept planning and a pre -application meeting with the County to discuss <br />proposed park improvements. That Work Order was completed and a concept plan has been provided <br />for formal design services. Due to the expiration of the existing Continuing Services Contract (RFQ <br />2018008), a new Work Order is proposed utilizing the RFQ 2023015, approved by the Board of <br />County Commissioners on May 2, 2023. This Work Order Number 1 will provide for the design <br />and engineering services necessary for the construction of a restroom and concession facility, and <br />stormwater for improvements outlined in the Capital Improvements associated with the Victor <br />Hart Sr. Enhancement Complex. Engineering services associated with this work order include: <br />Surveying Services, Engineering Design & Preparation of Construction Plans, Minor Site Plan <br />Approval, Permitting Assistance, Bidding Services and Specifications, and Construction <br />Administration Services for the Victor Hart Sr. Enhancement Complex Restroom and Concession <br />Facility. Fees associated with this work order are outlined in the attached Scope of Work. <br />141 <br />
