proclamation <br />Honoring Brian Reimsnyder on his Retirement from the <br />Indian River County Sheriff's Office <br />-Whereas, Brian Reimsnyder is retiring from the Indian River County Sheriff's Office effective <br />May 25, 2023; and <br />-Whereas, Brian began his law enforcement career in 1998 and has served with distinction for <br />twenty-five years; and <br />-Whereas, during his law enforcement career, Brian has served in many capacities including <br />Deputy and K-9 Deputy, and the Supervisory Rank of Sergeant; and <br />^Whereas, over his tenure, Brian received many acknowledgements and commendations for his <br />efforts, including Exceptional Duty Award, Honorable Service, Instructor Award, Lifesaving Award and <br />Law Enforcement Deputy of the Year; and <br />-Whereas, Brian has worked diligently under four sheriffs to protect and serve the public and <br />citizens of Indian River County and the State of Florida; and <br />-Whereas, Brian has been dedicated to his work and greatly appreciated by Sheriff Flowers and <br />those who have had the honor of serving with him. <br />Now, 11herefore, be it Proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, ,Florida, that the Board acknowledges the contributions that Brian <br />Reimsnyder has made to the citizens of Indian River County during his successful law enforcement <br />career and wish him a happy and prosperous retirement. <br />Adopted this 6th day of June, 2023.
