Construction of 12 inch PVC Water Main from the cast side of U.S. I <br />to the developer's property along the north side of 53rd Street to the cast <br />fight -of -way line of Old Dixie Highway for a total of 440 linear feet (see <br />attached Exhibit A). <br />The County shall reimburse Developer based on an itemized invoice of <br />installed materials on a complete basis at the time the above referenced <br />facilities arc dedicated to and accepted by the County. Reimbursements <br />shall be in the form of a check from the County, and shall not exceed the <br />total amount of $27,750.00 (see attached Exhibit B). <br />2. The Developer agrees to complete a final set of construction drawings and submit a <br />utilities construction permit to the Indian [liver County Utilities Department and <br />Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Prior to construction, all permits <br />must be approved. <br />3. The Developer agrees to convey all right, title, and interest in the aforementioned <br />force main to Indian River County, Florida, and provide a one-year, 25%n maintenance <br />bond to cover the one-year period after final payment by the County. <br />4. The Developer agrees to diligently seek all required permitting;, Construction, and <br />dedication of the facilities referred to herein, it being understood that timcis of the <br />essence. <br />5. The.Indian River County Department of Utility Services shall review and approve bid <br />proposals and engineering costs related with the work described herein. At least (3) <br />bid estimates from qualified contractors must be submitted to the Department of Utility <br />Services for review. Approval of project costs will be a condition of the Utility <br />Department's reimbursement for construction. Furthermore, no work shall commence <br />until the Utility Department provides written approval of the final construction cost. <br />6. Developer agrees to ensure that the selected Contractor for the project provides <br />insurance coverage in accordance with Indian River County Utilities Departmcltt <br />requirements. In addition, Indian River County will be names as additional insured, <br />
