A beach user was classified as county resident living on the <br />Barrier Island (County Island) if the user responded that he/she lived on the <br />t Island in Indian River County. A respondent was classified as County Mainland if <br />the ,espolldent indicated a residence in Indian River County on the mainland. <br />Individuals who responded that they lived out of Indian River County, but who did <br />not indicate that they were spending at least one night in the county where <br />classified as Day Tourists. Respondents who lived outside of Indian River <br />County and where spending the night, but not in a rental condo or motel where <br />classified as Non Paying Tourists.
