The .March 19, 2024 --Presidential `' <br />Preference Primary Election is. a countywi election, where voters have.: the opportunity to cast their <br />ballot either by mail,. in-person during the early voting perlc4 or at their assigned :polling location on <br />Election Day. The projected cost to condUCtL the 2024 Presidential Preference :Primary Election Is <br />$200,500. <br />Price "iricrease 'in all areas of election administration are affecting the Supervisor of Elections FY 2023-24 <br />budget including ballot.paper, voter registration fistmaintenanw.forms, postage, software licensing, and <br />mainteriance. fees. The staff at the Elections Office goes to great lengths to search out the most cost- <br />ieffective goods and services to conductefficient andsuccessful essful elections, unfortunately prices have risen <br />dramatically far. election► administration. <br />s <br />The Supervisor of Elections has received nitaon that the the licensinBg fees for our electronicPr!t books <br />(EViDs),ballot-on-demand' printers, website hosting, voter registration database, and Microsoft software <br />programs.,have increased by 7.2%; The Cost of Mage continues to rise. In addition, seven laptop,.: <br />computers, a copy machine, and several balliot-!o"-Oemand printers have reached their end of life and a <br />in need of replacement. <br />
