Specifically, the health department is requesting funds from the county for disease prevention and control (including <br />public health preparedness), and environmental health services. County revenue is being used for essential public health services. <br />The major focus of our agency is to improve the health of our community. This past year, we have made strides in our partnerships <br />for community health improvement and the establishment of our Wabasso satellite site.
