SATE_ <br />Annual Plan of Service FY 2023/2024 <br />The Annual Plan of Service is an outline of the Indian River County Library System's <br />focus of activities during the year. The plan supports the goals, objectives, and action <br />plan from the Library System's Long -Range Plan, and is supported by the Library <br />System's budget as described. <br />The major emphasis during Fiscal Year 2023/24 (October 1, 2023 to September 30, <br />2024) will be: <br />• Continue providing quality library services to all county residents. <br />• Continue providing comprehensive collections, both print and digital. <br />• Continue providing public computers and internet access. <br />• Continue providing technology training for the public. <br />• Continue providing cultural, educational, informational, and recreational programming for <br />all ages. <br />• Continue providing welcoming spaces for residents to meet, interact, read, and study. <br />• Continue offering adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and <br />career certificate through Career Online High School. <br />• Continue service to the South County area through the use of a state-of-the-art Vending <br />Library located at the Intergenerational Center. <br />• Continue Archive Center digitization projects to preserve local and Florida history. <br />• Make use of the newly constructed multi-purpose children's room at North IRC Library to <br />provide educational and recreational programming to infants through teenagers. <br />• Continue providing materials and information services that are responsive to the diverse <br />needs of the public and ensuring accessibility for all. <br />• Explore opportunities to increase outreach services for the community. <br />• Seek avenues of raising public awareness of the Library's resources and services. <br />
