Memorandum of Agreement <br />This Memorandum of Agreement ("Agreement") is entered between Indian River County/Indian River <br />County Emergency Services District and the International Association of Firefighters, Local 2201, as <br />follows: <br />On November 17, 2022. the Indian River County Emergency Services Administration spoke with the <br />International Association of Firefighters, Local 2201, in reference to amending CBA 2022-2025/ Article <br />18.07- Vacancies and Promotions <br />The amendment intends to clarify the promotion to Lieutenant Fire Inspector <br />Note: Amended CBA 2022-25/ Article 18.07 (Proposed changes in yellow) <br />18.07- Vacancies and Promotions <br />Upon successful completion of their trial period, Fire Inspectors (Certified or Civilian) who have <br />completed at least three (3) years of continuous wee employment as a Fire Inspector (Certified or <br />Civilian) with the Indian River County Fire Rescue Fire Prevention Bureau will be eligible ffeteeted to <br />test for Lieutenant Fire Inspector (Certified or Civilian) if an opening for the position exists. eely a€EeF <br />.,ppli able testing The Fire Marshal, with the approval of the Fire Chief; has the right to determine if a <br />position exists, the testing type and criteria. and lower the eligibility requirements in the event no <br />applicants meet the minimum listed. <br />By entering this agreement, neither party shall be in violation of the parties' Collective Bargaining <br />Agreement, regulations, or practices. <br />Indian River County Emergency Services <br />XDavid Johnson:•��• �a •� F - <br />David Johnson <br />Director <br />IAFF Local 2201 <br />e/LD ( <br />John O'Con or <br />President <br />Date: Date: ( Z- 2 D 72— <br />
