All new buses and vans will be wheelchair -accessible using <br />either ADA -compliant lifts or ramps. This project consists of capital assistance using FY 2021 funds <br />from the Section 5339 program. The federal share consists of $218,390 in FY21 FTA section 5339 <br />funds. For the nonfederal share of FTA Section 5339 capital expenditures (bus replacement), $54,597 <br />in toll revenue credits awarded in FY 21. Copies of the Florida Governor's Apportionment letters are <br />attached for the FY21 5339 program. <br />Project Benefits <br />The project will be for the replacement of existing vehicles and equipment that have exceeded useful life <br />requirements.
