DeBraal, County Attorney <br />DATE: September 6, 2023 <br />SUBJECT: Water and Sewer Easement to City of Vero Beach for Jackie Robinson <br />Training Complex <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Vero Beach provides water and sewer services to the Jackie Robinson <br />Training Complex owned by the County. New utility lines need to be installed to connect to housing <br />at the Training Complex. In order to install these new lines, a utility easement needs to be granted <br />from the County to the City. <br />The attached Water and Sewer Easement Deed has been approved by the County Surveyor and is <br />approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the County Attorney's Office. <br />FUNDING: There is no expenditure of County funds associated with this matter. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached <br />Water and Sewer Easement Deed and authorize the Chair to sign the easement. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Water and Sewer Easement Deed <br />Copies to: John Turner, City Attorney <br />Todd Young, City of Vero Beach Senior Engineering Designer <br />Richard B Szpyrka, P.E.
