Polymer is used to <br />physically and chemically flocculate the waste sludge so that it can be dewatered at the <br />facility prior to being hauled to the Residuals Dewatering Facility (RDF) for further <br />treatment. The polymer assists in settlement of suspended solids to reduce the volume of <br />sludge that is hauled to the RDF.
