Butler, Clerk of Circuit Court ff Comptroller <br />DATE: September 1, 2023 <br />SUBJECT: Subrecipient Award Contracts <br />As part of the federal government requirement under 2 CFR 200, Uniform <br />Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal <br />Award, (commonly known as the Uniform Grant Guidance), subrecipient agreements <br />must be entered into and approved by the Board of County Commissioners for any <br />new grants or updates to current grants. Based on the classification of grant <br />recipients, the Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council (TCHSC) and the Senior <br />Resource Association (SRA) are classified as grant subrecipients. <br />On June 20, 2023, the Board approved Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant <br />renewals and subsequent amendment in the amount of $1,058,736. Per the <br />requirements of the Uniform Grant Guidance, a subrecipient grant agreement must <br />be approved with the TCHSC that encompasses these grants. <br />The Board was awarded a Florida Department of Transportation Public Transit Block <br />Grant and a Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 Grant. A subrecipient <br />agreement must be approved with the SRA that encompasses these grants. <br />Recommendation: Approve the Subrecipient Award agreements with the TCHSC and <br />the SRA and execute any related documents. <br />32 <br />
