VERO BEACH COUNTRY CLUB - LICENSE AGREEMENT - USE <br />COUNTY PROPERTY BETWEEN INDIAN RIVER BLVD. AND <br />COUNTRY CLUB SUBDIVISION <br />The Board reviewed a'Memorandum of July 1, 1996: <br />TO: James E. Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P. , <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT. License Agreement for Vero Beach Country Club to Use County Property <br />between Indian River Blvd. and Country Club Subdivision <br />REF. LETTER: Terry O'Brien to James Davis dated June 18. 1996 <br />DATE: July 1, 1996 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Vero Beach Country Club requests permission to construct a two inch water <br />line under County property located east of Country Club Subdivision. The County <br />staff has no objection, and the Assistant County Attorney has prepared the <br />attached license agreement. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The County property affected is surplus right-of-way acquired for Indian River <br />Boulevard. 'No adverse impacts are foreseen. If the County has to use the <br />property for future expansion of Indian River Boulevard, the count clut3 would <br />.be required to relocate the line. <br />The alternatives are as follows: <br />Alternative Na. 1 <br />Approved the License Agreement. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny the Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative # 1 whereby the License be approved. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the License Agreement (Alternative #1), as <br />recommended in the memorandum. <br />EXCLUSIVE LICENSE AGREEMENT PLACED ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />31 boa 98 <br />July 9, 1996 <br />L- <br />
