Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address <br />of the bidder on the outside and the words "INIPROVENI.ENTS TO DALE WIMBROW PARK". <br />All bids, either mailed or walked in, will be received by the Purchasing Division, 2625 19th Avenue, <br />Vero Beach, Florida, where they will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 PM. All bids received <br />after 2:00 P,M., of the day specified above, will be returned unopened. <br />IRC BID # 9061 - DALE WIMBROW PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br />DALE WIMBROW PARK IMPROVEMENTS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />PROJECT NO. 9625B <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with <br />i the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto, which may be obtained from the <br />Officeof the 'ount E-3inge_r. Department of Public Works 1840 25th StreetVero Beach, Florida <br />32960 407 567-$000. ext. 221. Copies of the plans and the specifications containing the necessary <br />contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to BOARD QFC -UN Y <br />COMMISSIONERS. INDIAN RIVER CQONTY in the amount of Thirty-five (S 35.00) for each set, <br />i which represents cost of printing, handling, and mailing and which is non refundable. <br />l <br />All bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Proposal forms provided within the <br />specifications. A BID BOND must accompany each Bid, and be properly executed by the Bidder and <br />by a qualified surety, or certified check or cashier's check on any bank authorized to do business in <br />the State of Florida, in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount bid, made <br />payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event the Contract is <br />awarded to the Bidder, he will enter into a Contract with the County and furnish the required <br />Performance and Payment Bond. If he fails to do so, he shall forfeit the said bid Bond as liquidated <br />damages. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial <br />statement. <br />The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of sixty (60) days <br />t after the bid opening, to waive uiformalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with <br />or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of Indian River <br />t.
