Safe Families engages a Circle of Support that surrounds families in crisis until they can get back <br />on their feet. This circle consists of volunteers who serve as host families (who can keep children overnight <br />in their home for short periods of time), family friends (who provide mentoring, friendship and emotional <br />support to families), family coaches (who support volunteer families/individuals and assist parents in <br />reaching their goals), resource friends (who provide goods or services to families or volunteers), and <br />community resources (like crisis management, shelters, public aid, and churches). <br />A <br />
