To engage the next generation of theatre artists and create a learning artist program, the
Theatrical Learning Center (TLC) was established. The main objective of TLC is to provide a dynamic
environment where the learning of craft and technical skills are paramount. The program's focus is not
only on performance, but on educating young artists about all aspects of production, including acting,
choreography, voice, costumes, set building, lighting, scenic art, makeup, hair/wig design, and sound
design/engineering. The program's overarching goal is to create a safe, diverse, and inclusive space
that enables all participants to be themselves in the discovery of art.
[1
