C_ <br />SPECIFIC WORK AUTHORIZATION <br />SEBASTIAN WATER EXPANSION PHASE III <br />FOR <br />THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES MASTER AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN CARTER ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />AND THE <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY UTILITIES DEPARTMENT <br />(Date 6-30-99) <br />Pursuant to the Professional Services Mastcr Agreement between Indian River County Utilities <br />Department (hereinafter referred tons the OWNER) and C e RTER ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />(Hereinafter referred to as the CONSULTANT) for various surveying and Auto CADD services, <br />this Specific Work Authorization is an extension of and hereby becomes a part of that Master <br />Agreement as follows: <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: <br />The Sebastian Water Expansion Phase III project area is a residential development in the City of <br />Sebastian and the following subdivisions are located within the project area: <br />1. Sebastian Highlands Unit 8 <br />2. Sebastian Highlands Unit 10 <br />3. Sebastian Highlands Unit 11 <br />4. Sebastian Highlands Unit 13 <br />5. Roseland Acres S/D <br />Geographically the project is bounded by County road 512 on the North, Barber Street on the <br />East, and unplatted lands on the South and West. <br />The project area consists of 4300 platted lots and (+/-)41+ miles of roadway. <br />SECTION I -PROJECT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT: <br />The CONSULTANT recommends that the survey should commence at the Southeast extremity of <br />the project and move Northerly then Westerly. The project could be separated into five (5) <br />sections and as a section is complete, the information would be forwarded to the OWNER to <br />begin the design aspect of the project. To perform the survey in this manner would be the most <br />efficient wav to manage and evilMite the ..r,.;,,,.t <br />SECTION 2 - SERVICES PROVIDED BY 1 HIS; CONSULTANT: <br />CONSULTANT will provide the OWNER surveying data for the Sebastian Water Expansion <br />Phase III project based on the CONSULTANT'S and OWNER'S modified version of the <br />following County documents attached hereto as Section 5 and made part of the contract: <br />1. Indian River County Utilities "Required Survey Information" <br />2.
