40 <br />ATTACHMENT VII <br />DESCRIPTION OF USE OF CHD TRUST FUND BALANCES <br />FOR SPECIAL PROJECTS, IF APPLICABLE <br />(From Attachment II, Part I) <br />$70,000 has been set aside for planned renovation of the <br />nursing and general administration areas. <br />General Administration: Renovation of two office <br />spaces(reception secretary and administrator) including an <br />enlargement of the reception area to be more inviting to the <br />public. Also planned is renovation of the data processing <br />area into a more useable administrative conference/computer <br />training room. <br />Also planned is the renovation of the nursing administration <br />area (also located on the second floor). Current use of <br />" cubbies" is not practical and used by staff. Plans are <br />to remove permanent dividers and install modular desk areas <br />that can be shared and/or assigned to field staff. <br />Both areas of renovation includes the installation of new <br />carpet and painting of the areas. <br />DESCRIPTION OF SPECIAL CONTRACTS <br />(Please iist separately) <br />Special contracts are contracts for services for which there are <br />no comparable services in the county health department core <br />programs; no service codes in Departmental coding manuals; <br />projects that are locally designed and have no standard statewide <br />set of services and therefore cannot be accounted for within <br />existing county health department programs. These contracts are <br />coded to SAMAS Level 599 and include some contracts formerly <br />handled at the district offices such as Epilepsy, colposcopy, <br />Project WARM, community planning and special family planning and <br />teen mother projects. <br />
