4M <br />0 <br />V1 <br />a <br />SECTION 07715 --DRIP FLASHINGS <br />A. General <br />The roof edge, for the roofing material depicted on the <br />drawings, shall be a snap -lock system as manufactured by <br />one of the following companies: <br />1. W.P. Hickman Company. <br />2. Architectural Products Company. <br />3. Metal -Era Roof Edge Systems. <br />4. MM Systems Corporation. <br />5. Southern Aluminum Finishing Company. <br />Provide a Manufacturers fifteen -year warranty. The roof <br />edge system shall carry a Factory Mutual I-90 approval. <br />B. Material: <br />The fascia shall be a minimum of .063 aluminum. The finish <br />shall be clear anodized. concealed splice plates shall <br />match the color and finish. Provide galvanized spring <br />clips. Provide fascia and clips in 10 ft. lengths. Miter- <br />ed corners shall be factory fabricated with welded joints. <br />Coordinate with the Manufacturers installation instructions <br />before starting installation. <br />C. Execution: <br />Installation shall conform to manufacturers written in- <br />structions. The continuous spring clip shall be installed <br />and fastened on the face at 12 inches on center with mini- <br />mum 1--1/4 in. galvanized steel roofing nails. when <br />utilizing a t single -ply membrane system, the roofing <br />membrane shall extend loosely over the spring clip and down <br />the face and secured as required by membrane manufacturer. <br />The fascia, with concealed joint cover, shall be installed <br />on the membrane with a downward snapping action. <br />Installing contractor shall carefully cut and fit smaller <br />intermediate sections of fascia to fit the building <br />dimensions. <br />***END Ur SECTION*** <br />07715-1 <br />
