Control Joints and Expansion Joints on flat vertical and <br />horizontal surfaces for exterior applications shall be <br />"solid zinc only" as shown on building elevations and <br />details, for all stucco systems. Manufactured by "Keene" <br />or an approved, comparable product. <br />4. Inside -Corner Expansion Joints for interior or exterior <br />applications shall be vinyl (Model CXJ-75 or CXJ-79 as <br />shown on details) as manufactured by Vinyl Corp. or an. <br />approved, comparable product. <br />F. Execution: <br />1. [duality - Follow recommendations and specifications for <br />strict installation. Allow adequate time for each of three <br />(3) coats to dry before going on with next coat. <br />2. Metal Accessories; <br />a. Corner beads, for interior applications only, shall be <br />installed on all corners and edges of corner openings. <br />Corner beads shall extend the full height of the <br />corners on which they are applied and shall act as a <br />ground. <br />b. Crack <br />will follow the tooled joint. <br />3. Metal Lath shall be applied with long dimension of sheet <br />across supports. <br />4. Control Joints and Expansion Joints shall be installed in <br />exact locations shown, or as to check shrinkage and <br />expansion cracks. <br />S.
