Provide baked gray enamel finish over <br />a rust inhibitor coating. Design enclosures for recessed <br />or surface mounting as indicated. Provide enclosures <br />which are fabricated by same manufacturer as panelboards,. <br />which mate and match properly with panelboards to be <br />enclosed. <br />E. Molded -Case Circuit Breakers: Provide factory -assembled, <br />molded -rase circuit breakers of frame sizes, <br />characteristics, and ratings including RMS symmetrical <br />interrupting ratings indicated. Select breakers with <br />permanent thermal and instantaneous magnetic trip of <br />ampere ratings as indicated. Construct with overcenter, <br />trip -free, toggle -type operating mechanisms with <br />quick --make, quick -break action and positive handle trip <br />indication. Construct breakers for mounting and <br />operating in any physical position, and operating in an <br />ambient temperature of 40 degree C. Provide breakers with <br />mechanical screw type removable connector lugs, AL,/Cu <br />rated. <br />3.01 EXAMINATTON <br />A. The interrupting rating of all circuit breakers installed <br />panels shall equal or exceed the largest circuit breaker <br />interrupting rating in the panel. <br />A. install panelboards and enclosures as indicated, in, <br />accord- ance with manufacturer's written instructions, <br />applicable requirements of NEC standards and NECA's <br />„Standards of installation", and in compliance with <br />recognized industry practices to ensure that products <br />fulfill requirements. <br />B. Tighten connectors and terminals, including screws and <br />bolts, in accordance with equipment manufacturer's <br />published torque tightening values for equipment <br />connectors. Where manufacturer's torquing requirements <br />are not indicated, tighten connectors and terminals to <br />comply with tightening torques specified in UL Stds 486A <br />and B. <br />c. Fasten enclosures firmly to walls and structural surfaces, <br />1&470-3 <br />
