40 <br />Chapter 99-226, Fla. Laws, in Specific Appropriation No. <br />1122., provides that Federal disaster assistance matching <br />requirements shall be shared equally between the State and its <br />subgrantees. <br />Sections 252.35, 252.36, 252.37, and 252.38 Florida <br />statutes, authorize the relationship described in this Agreement. <br />Based upon the existence of the foregoing conditions the <br />parties agree to the following: <br />1. DEFINITIONS: As used in this Agreement, the following <br />terms shall have the following meanings unless otherwise <br />specified - <br />a. Eligible dioaster relief activ't3es", as used in <br />this Agreement, means those activities authorized in the FEMA - <br />State Agreement, as defined herein below; Public Law 93-289, as <br />amended by Public Law 100-707 (hereinafter the "Stafford Act"); <br />Title 44 CFR, Part 206, and applicable Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency or State guidance documents. <br />b. "FEMA -State Agreement" shall mean that agreement <br />between FEMA and the state of Florida, for Hurricane Floyd, <br />FEMA -1300 -DR -FL and all modifications thereto. <br />c. "Large Project" and "Small. Project" shall be defined <br />as indicated in 44 CFR 206.2.03(c). <br />d.
