"Sonny" Dean, Director <br />Department of General Services <br />SUBJECT: Fiber Optic Cable Installation Bid'No. 6080 - Amendment to Bid Award <br />In preparation of the subject agenda for award of the bid, staff inadvertently omitted a <br />recommendation to allow the Board Chairman to execute the appropriate contract documents <br />associated with the bid. <br />Staff recommends this amendment to the agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously awarded Bid <br />#6080 to Allcomm Networks, in the amount of <br />$319,301, and authorized the Chairman to sign the <br />appropriate contract documents, as recommended by <br />staff in their memoranda. <br />AGREEMENT AND BID SPECIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN PLACED <br />ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO.THE BOARD <br />18 <br />August 6, 1996 <br />
