The Contractor shall immediately, upon entering project site for purpose of <br />beginning work, locate all general reference points and take necessary action <br />to prevent their destruction; layout his own work and be responsible for all <br />lines, elevations and measurements of utilities and other work executed by <br />him under the Contract. <br />B. The Contractor must exercise proper precaution to verify figures shown on <br />the drawings before layout work and will be held responsible for any error <br />resulting from his failure to exercise such precautions. <br />::f : ►U d .: !: M10vti <br />The performance of all construction under this Contract shall conform to the Federal <br />Occupational Safety and Health StancLowdss. <br />' Mi; ti ti ► ti u9 r <br />A. Immediately following the written "Notice to Proceed" issued to the <br />Contractor, a Pre -Construction Conference shall be held with the Indian <br />River County Public Works Department to review coordination between the <br />Contractor and Indian River County_ <br />B. In accordance with Paragraph 4, Part 1, of Section 113, the Contractor shall <br />submit a planned construction progress schedule at the Pre -Construction <br />Conference. The schedule shall show the time at which the Contractor <br />plans to begin and complete each of the various sections, locations, or <br />phases of his operation. <br />A. The Contractor shall be responsible for notifying the following utility <br />companies prior to commencing work so that existing utilities can be located <br />and protected: <br />1. Florida Power and Light Company <br />2. Bell SouthTelephone Company <br />3. City of Vero Beach Water & Sewer Department <br />4. Indian River County Public Works Deparmient <br />In addition, the Contractor shall be responsible for notifying the local cable <br />T.V. company, and any other utilities which may be affected by the <br />Contractor's work, <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible for notifying the following agencies <br />Prior to commencing work; <br />1 . Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br />2. St. John's River Water Management District <br />3. Indian River County Construction Inspector <br />4. Indian River County Code Enforcement Department (clearing). L <br />S, Indian River County Consumer Health & Relocative Scrvices <br />Department (septic tank). <br />IA -2 <br />
