Copies of the plans and the specifications <br />containing the necessary contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made <br />payable to INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. BOARD OF QQUNTY COMMIB5jQNER5, in the <br />amount of FORTY DOLLARS ($40.00) for each set, which represents cast of printing, <br />handling, and mailing and which is non refundable. <br />All bids shall be submitted in duplicaie on the Bid Proposal forms provided within <br />the specifications. A BID BOND must accompany each Bid, and be properly executed by <br />the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or certified check or cashier's check on any bank <br />authorized to do business in the State of Florida, in the sum of not less than Five Percent <br />(5%) of the total amount bid, made payable to Indian river County Board of County <br />Commissioners. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, he will enter into a <br />Contract with the County and furnish the required Performance and Payment Bond unless <br />the Bid is below $50,000, in which case the County will waive the requirements for a <br />separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond.
