BUTLER, CLERK <br />AFFIDAVIT <br />BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, duly authorized to take acknowledgments and administer oaths, <br />personally appeared Susan Adams, Chairman for Indian River County, a political subdivision, ("Affiant"), who <br />depose and say under penalties of perjury that: <br />(When used "Affiant", "Seller" and "Buyer" include singular or plural as context so requires or admits.) <br />1. This affidavit is made with regards to the following described property: <br />Being a part of the SW 1/4 of Section 22, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, and more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />From the SW corner of Section 22, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, run South 89° 59'30" <br />East along said South Section line a distance of 935.50 feet; thence North 01 43135" West a <br />distance of 1,585.12 feet to the Point of Beginning. Thence continue North 00 43'35" West, a <br />distance of 210.00 feet; thence East a distance of 690.00 feet; thence South 0143145" East a <br />distance of 210.00 feet; thence West a distance of 690.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, lying <br />and being in Indian River County, Florida; less and except that parcel described in Official <br />Records Book 683, page 2829, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />Affiant is the owner(s) of the real property described in item 41. <br />Affiant confirms that tax certificates numbered 1402, 1270 and 1246 were redeemed by Leonard Green. <br />Affiant purchased the property from Leonard Green in 2020. <br />Affiant confirms that tax certificates numbered 1137, 1093, 1052 and I 1 l 1 were redeemed by Affiant. <br />This affidavit is given for the purpose of clearing any possible question or objection to the title to <br />the above referenced property and, for the purpose of inducing Collins Brown Barkett, Chartered and Old <br />Republic National Title Insurance Company ("Title Insurer") to issue title insurance on the subject property, <br />with the knowledge that said title companies are relying upon the statements set forth herein. Affiant thereby <br />holds Collins Brown Barkett, Chartered and Title Insurer harmless and fully indemnifies same (including <br />but not limited to attorneys' fees, whether suit be brought or not, and at trial and all appellate levels, and court <br />costs and other litigation expenses) with respect to the matters set forth herein. Affiant is familiar with the <br />nature of an oath and with the penalties as provided by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida <br />for falsely swearing to statements made in an instrument of this nature.
