40 <br />• <br />40 <br />• <br />SECTION 5C - MISCELLANEOUS METALS <br />1. GENERAL: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment <br />necessary for the installation of the miscellaneous metals. <br />2. INSPECTION. The Contractor shall examine all work in direct contact with or <br />having an effect on his work. If any defects are found that would have an adverse <br />effect on the erection of completion of the installation of his materials, the Contractor <br />shall notify the owner in writing of the nature of the defects. If tate Contractor <br />proceeds with hitt work without effecting such notification, it shall be construed as an <br />acceptance by him of all preceding, work. <br />3. CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install, or furnish for other trades when required, <br />all miscellaneous metal, steel, and metal fabrications including but not limited to, <br />hangers, anchors, bolts, plates, supports, lintels, brackets, and other miscellaneous <br />items necessary to frame or support the Work. <br />4� FINISHES: Structural bolts, plates and connections shall be type 316 stainless steel. <br />5. FIELD MEASUREMENTS: Take all measurement,, in field as required to verify or <br />supplement those shown on the Drawings and assume responsibility for lit of <br />structural members, other structural steel, and miscellaneous metals. <br />6. SHOP DRAWINGS: Provide four sets of shop drawings showing component sizes, <br />connection details, and finished installation sizes for review and approval by the <br />owner, signed as accepted by the Contractor. <br />7. HARDWARE <br />a) Work Included: Furnish and install all finish hardware specific(] and obviously <br />required to complete: the work its indicated on the drawings and specified herein. <br />Provide all triut attachments, accessories and fastenings required for proper and <br />complete installation. <br />b) Items of hardware not specifically mentioned herein and necessary for tits <br />completion of the work shown out the drawings shall be provided.
