• <br />4W <br />40 <br />1� <br />0 CONTII;AC'FOR's Liability Insurances <br />5.3 Insurance - General: CONTRACTOR shall not commence work under this contract until he has <br />obtained all insurance required under this Section and such insurance has been approved by the <br />OWNER, nor shall the CONTRACTOR allow any Subcontractor to commence work on his <br />i subcontract until all similar insurance required of the Subcontractor has been so obtained and <br />approved, All such insurance shall remain in effect until final payment and at all time thereafter <br />when CONTRACTOR may be correcting, removing or replacing defective Work in accordance with <br />w paragraph 13.12. <br />5.3.1 Insurance Requirements: <br />f <br />� <br />5.3.1.1 Worker's Compensation: To meet statutory limits in compliance with the Worker's <br />Compensation Law of Florida. This ,policy must include Employer Liability with <br />a limit $100,000 for each accident, $500,000 disease (policy limit) and $100,000 <br />disease (each employee). Such policy shall include a waiver of subrogation as <br />against OWNER and F.N;INEER on account of injury sustained by an employce(s) <br />of the CONTRACTOR. <br />+ 5.3.1.2 Commercial General Liability: Coverage shall provide minimum limits of liability <br />of $1,000,000 per occurrence Combined Single Limit for Bodily Injury and <br />P Property Ramage. This shall include coverage for: <br />I • Premises/Operations <br />• Products/Completed Operations <br />f • Contractual Liability <br />i Independent Contractors <br />5.3.1.3 Business Auto Liability: Coverage shall provide minimum Limits of liability of <br />I $3,000,000 per occurrence Combined Single Limit for Bodily Injury and Property <br />Damage. This shall include coverage for: <br />I + Owner Autos <br />• Hired Autos <br />• Non -Owned Autos <br />i 53.1A CONTRACTOR's Property insurance: CONTRACTOR shall purchase and <br />t maintain property insurance upon the Work at the site to the full insurable value <br />thereof (subject to such deductible amounts as may be provided in the <br />I Supplementary Conditions or required by law). This insurance shall include the <br />I.. interests of OWNER, CONTRACTOR and Subcontractors in the Work, shall insure <br />against the perils of fire, lightning and extended coverage, shall include "all risk" <br />i insurance for physical loss and damage including theft, vandalism and malicious <br />mischief, collapse and water damage, and such other perils as may he provided in <br />the Supplementary Conditions, and shall include damages, losses and expenses <br />arising out of our resulting from any insured loss or incurred in the repair or <br />t replacement of any insured property (including fees and charges of engineers, <br />architects, attorneys and other professionals). If not covered under the "all risk" <br />insurance or otherwise provided in the Supplementary Conditions, CONTRAC-fOk <br />shall purchase and maintain similar property insurance on portions of the Work <br />stored on and off the site or in transit when such portions of the Work are to be <br />included in an Application for Payment. The policies or insurance required to be <br />purchased and maintained by CONTRACTOR in accordance with this paragraph <br />shall contain a provision that the covcragc afforded will not be canceled, materially <br />changed or reduced until at ]cast thirty (30) days" prior written notice has been <br />i given to OWNER. <br />j� GENr-RAI.
