C-1 <br />db <br />r <br />t <br />t <br />Wabasso Causeway Park Improvements <br />5ECTIt}N SA - HARDWAREAND P CIALTIES: <br />' 1. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for Ate <br />installation of all the hardware and specialties. <br />I2. The Contractor shall examine all work in direct contact with or having an effect on <br />all hardware and specialty items. If any defects are found that would have an <br />4 adverse effect on his work, the Contractor shall notify the owner in writing. If the <br />Contractor proceeds with his work without effecting this notification, it shall be <br />construed as an acceptance by hint of all proceeding, work. <br />3. Description: The hardware headings are intended to cover all the doors of the <br />building and establish a standard of quality and application. It is the specific duty of <br />the hardware supplier to examine the plans and specifications and advise the owner <br />t of any omissions or discrepancies. Authorization for change shall be by addendum <br />i only. The omission of an item from this section does not relieve the Contractor <br />from providing hardware for all parts of the building where such items would <br />normally be required in order to properly complete the work. <br />A. Proposal is to cover the installation and furnishing of finish hardware as <br />detailed. Proposal must read "in accordance with plans and specifications ", <br />and is not to he qualified in any manner. <br />E. It is the responsibility of the hardware supplier to furnish hardware that <br />conforms to all code requirements. <br />I 4. All hardware shall be new and free from defects. Products are to be those specified. <br />Any requests for substitutions will require owners approval. <br />5. Packing, Marking, Delivery <br />A. Items of hardware shall be packaged separately, labeled with cormsponding <br />symbols to that on the hardware schedule to identify hardware location <br />within building. Each container or package shall include necessary <br />fastenings, instructions, and installation templates to facilitate installation. <br />I All hardware shall be delivered, transportation charges prepaid, to the job site <br />t or to the door manufacturer. <br />r 6. Keying: Furnish two (2) change keys with each lock set. All keys :;hall remain in <br />l the possession of the Contractor under maximum security until Project completion. <br />The Contractor will labelthe key at the time of instal lation.Keys will be turned over <br />to the Owner at Project completion.All doors to be keyed alike. <br />I'r,ii f .� PRODUCUS: See drawings and I htrdware Schedule liela�w. <br />I PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />1.
