40 <br />• <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />ROUND ISLAND OCEANFRONT PARK <br />Section 1 - General <br />This is an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement(AGREEMENT) dated April 8,1997. <br />Section III - Scope of Services <br />The ARCHITECT agrees to perform additional professional services as set forth in the following: <br />8. The ARCHI "ECT shall revise the construction drawings by eliminating 150 feet of <br />vehicle storage from the northbound right -turn lane and moving the remaining 385 feet <br />of taper and deceleration to the top of the driveway radius. The plan modifications <br />shall include design of a stabilized embankment fully contained within the existing <br />right-of-way, from STA 20+97.80 to STA 22+72.80. <br />9. The ARCHITECT shall notify the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) <br />of the proposed changes, and provide any documentation or permit revisions that <br />may be required by the FDOT. <br />10. The ARCHITECT shall provide revised plan views, cross-sections, stabilization <br />details, and revised quantities for issuance of a construction contract Change Order. <br />€ Section V - Compensation <br />The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ARCHITECT agrees to accept for all the additional services <br />delineated herein a fee amount of $3,850.00. Billings/payments will be based upon actual hours <br />expended on these tasks, according to the schedule of rates and fees provided in Section VI - <br />Additional Work, of the Agreement. <br />The ARCH ITECT' s billing for theselasks shall not exceedthe specifiedfee amount. The COUNTY <br />shall retain any remaining balance after all billable hours for the specified work have been recorded. <br />Section XIX - Other Provision <br />1. Receipt of an executed copy of the Amciuhncia shad constitute the COUNTY's notice to <br />the ARCHITECT to proceed with the work. <br />
