AMENDMENT TO COMMERCIAL BUILDING LEASE <br />between the <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />and <br />PERFECTION BUILDING COMPONENTS, INC. <br />This Amendment is made and entered into on this 6 t h day of A o r i 1 , 2000, by and <br />between Perfection Building Components, Inc., hereinafter called Assignee/Lessee, a Florida <br />corporation, the address of which is 7985 Oslo Road, Vero Beach, FL 32968, and Indian River County <br />Solid Waste Disposal District, hereinafter called Lessor, the address of which is c/o Utilities Department, <br />1840 251" Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, and amends the Lease between Assignee/Lessee and Lessor <br />dated June 18, 1996, for the premises located at 7985 Oslo Road, Vero Beach, Florida. <br />In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein, it is mutually agreed <br />by and between Assignee/Lessee and Lessor that the June 18, 1996, Lease is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br />1. The Assignee/Lessee failed to pay the required sales tax to the Lessor and the Lessor failed to collect <br />said sales tax, all as required by Chapter 1611Wlorida Statutes. There is now due and owing to the <br />State of Florida the sum total of $ 1.2 131,-- for past sales tax and interest up to MM FLY•GA <br />31 Q.000 . The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners, at its regular <br />meeting of March 7, 2000, heard from Mr. Turner, President of the Assignee/Lessee corporation, and <br />considered the matter of payment to the state. it was agreed as follows: <br />a) Both parties will work to see if the state would forgive all penalties and interest. <br />b) Both parties will each pay one-half of the final sum total. <br />c) The Lessor will pay the entire amount to the state and the Assignee/Lessee will reimburse <br />the Lessor for its share by including in its monthly rental the additional amount of <br />s__5.33. _21- for the next 14 months, which will be the Lessor's total <br />reimbursement. <br />All terms, conditions, phrases, and clauses in the Lease dated June 18, 1996, as assigned, not <br />specifically amended by this amendment remain unchanged and in full force. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF officers of Lessor and Assignee/Lessee respectfully have hereunto <br />affixed their hands and seals at Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida, on this 6th day of <br />A p r i l 2000. <br />LESSOR <br />Attest: J.
