This position will fimctian as both a crime analyst and a program liaison with the other agencies <br />involved "Ip coordinate the upcoming district wide GOTRAK initiative. Petition of WWCI-LP to Air on Local Cable Service <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 96-92 supporting the petition of WWCI-LP <br />before the Federal Communications Commission to air <br />on local cable service. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-92 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE PETITION OF <br />WWCI-LP BEFORE THE FEDERAL COMMUNI <br />CATIONS COMMISSION TO AIR ON LOCAL CABLE <br />SERVICE. <br />WHEREAS, Television Station WWCI-LP is an independent <br />television station which operates on channel 10 and- is licensed to Vero <br />Beach, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Indian River County, and <br />parts of the unincorporated area of Indian River County, Florida, <br />receive cable service from TCI Cablevision of the Treasure Coast <br />(TCI); and <br />WHEREAS, TCI desires to carry WWCI-LP to provide local news <br />and information; and <br />WHEREAS, WWCI-LP renders in-depth local programming and <br />public service programming; and 8-fle 98 <br />AUGUST 13, 1996 33 <br />
