•r <br />�J <br />C- I <br />4D <br />@k <br />Keep Brevard Beautiful <br />Keep Indian River Beautiful <br />Those entering into this agreement are hereinafter called "Member Entities". <br />For and in Consideration of the mutual benefits and obligations hereunto pertaining, MRC and <br />the Member Entities agree as follows: <br />There is hereby created a Indian River Lagoon Scenic Highway Corridor Management Entity, <br />hereinafter called CME, which shall initiate, coordinate and monitor plans, strategies, programs <br />and events set forth in the Iridian River Lagoon Scenic Highway Corridor Management Plan, <br />hereinafter called CMP. The CMP is a dynamic document that shall be first approved and <br />adopted by the CME and may be changed at any time by the CME. MRC shall provide staff <br />resources and keep and maintain ail records and funds of the CME unless and until the CME <br />directs otherwise. <br />MRC shall appoint two representatives to serve on the CME, one of whom shall serve as Chair; <br />each LGPG shall appoint one or two representatives to serve on the CME (preferably a <br />government representative plus a citizen); each OGE shalt appoint one representative to serve on <br />the CME; each CO shalt appoint one representative to serve on the CMF.. <br />Each LGPG participating in this agreement, along with Patrick Air Force Base, Canaveral Port <br />Authority and Kennedy Space Center, by doing so agrees to the following. <br />1. The approval of the stipulated Indian River Lagoon Scenic Highway Route in the <br />respective jurisdiction (complete route attached). <br />2. The approval of the Vision of the Indian River Lagoon Scenic Highway (attached). <br />3. The approval of the Preliminary Goals and Objectives of the Indian River Lagoon <br />Scenic Highway (attached), as these goals and objectives are applicable and appropriate to its <br />specific local government or jurisdiction. <br />4. The incorporation of the above three items in its Comprehensive Pian, or its <br />equivalent, at the earliest opportunity. <br />5. The appointment of one or two representatives to the CME, as stipulated in the <br />paragraph above. <br />The representative (s) of each Member Entity shall serve at the pleasure of the representative's <br />appointing authority. Membership on the CME may be expanded or reduced by majority action <br />of the existing Member Entities. <br />Each Member Entity representative shall provide technical advice in areas of planning, <br />engineering, architecture, environmental management, and other activities which may contribute <br />to the mission of the CME, as may be appropriate to the representative. <br />This Agreement is a continuing contract and program, however, MRC or ally Member Entity <br />may dissolve its participation in tite CME with it thirty (30) day written notice in advance of the <br />termination to the remaining party (ics). The CME will terminate when no party remains to be <br />legally active. <br />
