Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 026 <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/12/96: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: August 12, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 026 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. At the June 11, 1996 BCC meeting, a motion was approved to increase the Environmental <br />Control Board legal services budget . The attached entry appropriates the funds. <br />2. This entry appropriates funding for capital expenditure reimbursements received under the <br />Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 grant (formerly Section 9) and the Florida DOT <br />Public Transit State Block Grant passed through to the IRC Council on Aging. <br />3. A budget amendment for an unemployment charge in November, 1995 was made for an amount <br />net of a credit. The entry should have reflected the gross charge. This entry corrects the <br />unemployment charge. <br />4. At the April 23, 1996 BCC meeting approval was granted the Sheriff's Department the use of <br />funds generated from confiscated property in drug related activities to purchase specified <br />equipment. This entry appropriates the funds. <br />5. The final Property Appraiser payment for SWDD for the 1994/95 fiscal year was charged to the <br />current year in error. The attached entry appropriates funding to cover this additional payment <br />in the current fiscal year. <br />6. At the July 16, 1996 BCC meeting, approval was granted for use of 911 Surcharge funds for the <br />renovation of the E911. Center and purchase of consoles and chairs for the E911 <br />Communications Center and the Vero Beach Police -Department Public Safety Answering Point. <br />The attached entry allocates the funding. <br />16 <br />AUGUST 20, 1996 <br />
