I. Grant -in -Aid Agreement - Court Reporting Services <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/14/96: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: August 14, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: GRANT-IN-AID AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,924.56 <br />FOR COURT REPORTING SERVICES - CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIO S <br />The State of Florida has again decided to give each Judicial Circuit a grant to help offset court <br />recording costs for depositions and appeals. Indian River County's share of the grant is $4,924.56. <br />This grant helps to offset costs already included in Indian River County's court related budgeted <br />expenses. A county grant form was not prepared because this will not affect expenses. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the chairman to sign the attached Grant -In - <br />Aid Agreement for Court Reporting Services to the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, Indian River County <br />for fiscal year 1996/97. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Grant -In -Aid Agreement in the amount of <br />$4,924.56 for Court Reporting services to the <br />Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, as recommended by OMB <br />Director Baird. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />23 <br />AUGUST 20, 1996 <br />B�a�x 98 ,f; , E 841 <br />
