8001( 1-‘,846 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously granted <br />permission to expand the purposes for giving the <br />easement as recommended by staff; and adopted <br />Resolution 96-96, accepting a quit -claim deed from <br />the Indian River Farms Water Control District. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96- 96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A QUIT -CLAIM DEED <br />FROM THE INDIAN RIVER FARMS WATER CONTROL DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River Farms Water Control District executed a <br />Quit -Claim Deed dated August 24, 1995 by which the District quit -claimed to <br />Indian River County the West 10 feet of Tract 8, Section 5, Township 33 <br />South, Range 39 East, according to the last general plat of lands of the <br />Indian River Farms Company, per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2, Page <br />25, Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida, said lands now lying and <br />being in Indian River County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, acceptance of this deed will facilitate the development of <br />commercial projects known as the Indian River Mall and Indian River Square by <br />furthering Board of County Commission approved requirements for <br />inter -connections between the developments and utilization of common access <br />points to S.R. 60, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County hereby accepts that Quit -Claim .Deed <br />dated August 24, 1995 from the Indian River Farms Water Control District for <br />the West 10 feet of Tract 8, in Section 5, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, <br />and directs that said deed be recorded in the Public Records of Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />27 <br />AUGUST 20, 1996 <br />
