Community Development Director Bob Keating presented staff's <br />recommendation for special exception use approval. <br />Chairman Adams opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. <br />Edward Conan, member of St. Peter's and resident of the <br />county, explained the church's need for the school and their desire <br />to educate their children to be good citizens. He urged the Board <br />to approve their request. <br />Dale Dawkins, member of St. Peter's, related that he has had <br />the opportunity to work with these children and agreed that this <br />school is needed. With this <br />opportunity to open the school in <br />the working parents. <br />In answer to Chairman Adams' <br />there will be a children's choir. <br />approval, they also will have the <br />the evenings which will benefit <br />question, Mr. Dawkins confirmed <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Chairman <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously granted <br />special exception use approval to St. Peter's <br />Missionary Baptist Church request for a private <br />school. <br />42 <br />AUGUST 20, 1996 <br />• Boo 08 F'a E 861 <br />
