(56I) 995.4900 • Fax (561)995-(Y)25 <br />06-11a <br />2 March 2000 <br />GeoSyntec Consultants (GeoSyntce) received the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection's (FDEP's) 3.1 January 2000 approval notice regarding the <br />September 1999 Preliminary Remedial Action Plan (PRAT'), as amended by <br />GeoSyntec's 10 January 2000 response letter to FDEP's comments (hereinafter referred <br />to as the response letter). In accordance with our conversations, GeoSyntec has <br />prepared this cast estimate in accordance with the Professional Services Agrcement <br />between GeoSyntec and Indian River County Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD), <br />Contract Number 9902, to perform the initial portion of work presented within the <br />PRAP. The scope of work has been divided into tasks to facilitate project Inanagcntent <br />and efficient completion of the work. The tasks arc sutnmarized below. <br />FDEP-APPROVED SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task 1. Project Management <br />Under this task, GcoSyntec will perform project management responsibilities, such. <br />as subcontracting, review of invoices, project coordination, and project administration. <br />For this task, GeoSyntec has budgeted to expend an average of one hour per week over <br />the anticipated 5 -month project period (in accordance with Figure 5-4 of the PRAI') to <br />help ensure that the work is completed on schedule and within the budget approved by <br />Indian River County.
