Prepare Remedial Action Plan <br />A Remedial Action Plan (RAP) will be prepared to summarize the Tasks 2 and 3 <br />work performed at the Gifford Road Landfill, present the findings of this work, evaluate <br />remedial options, and recommend a remedial strategy for the site. We will generally <br />follow FDLP's 1999 guidance document entitled "Corrective Actions for Contaminated <br />Site Cases" in the preparation of this RAP. <br />Task 5. Biosparging Pilot Study <br />At this point, no cost estimate has been prepared for Task 5. Upon completion of <br />the Initial Site Screening for MNA (Task 3), GeoSyntec will either prepare the RAP <br />(Task 4), or recommend that the biosparging pilot study be completed prior to <br />preparation of the RAP. If GeoSyntcc recommends that the biosparge pilot study be <br />implemented, a cost estimate will be prepared and submitted to Indian River County for <br />consideration. <br />Task b. Waste Characterization Assistance <br />With respect to investigation derived waste generated during GeoSyntec's <br />fieldwork at the site, GeoSyntec will drum the waste (including drill cuttings and purge <br />water), stage the drums on-site, and mark each dnmn to indicate the source of the waste <br />(c.g., boring numbers, etc.) contained within each drum, the generation (late, mid <br />contact information. <br />i <br />X1294170lft000067.doc <br />
