The resolution in Attachment 2 and the <br />agreement in Attachment 3 have been reviewed and approved by the <br />County Attorney's Office. <br />In addition to the Section 5307 grant documents presented for <br />approval herein, the county must enter into Joint Participation <br />Agreements (JPAs) with FDOT for the Public Transit Development <br />Block Grant. When submitted to the county by FDOT, the JPAs•will <br />be presented to the Board of County.Commissioners for approval. <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the <br />attached resolution authorizing the filing of the Section 5307 <br />grant application. Staff also recommends that the Board authorize <br />the chairman to execute the necessary self certifications and <br />standard assurances required by the Section 5307 program and the <br />Memorandum of Agreement between the county and the Council on Aging <br />for the transfer of transit grant funds. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter.
