40 <br />4W <br />M <br />D. recipient agrees to perform the project identified in said application utilizing the <br />funds provided under this Agreement, supplemented by any funds represented in <br />said application as matching funds. Recipient shall not expend more than five <br />percent (5%) of the total funds awarded for administrative expenses. <br />"Administrative expenses" means the direct costs of staff managing the project <br />and other direct costs for managing the project, as well as the applicant's indirect <br />rate, if any, applied to those direct costs of management. The sum total of direct <br />and indirect costs identified shall not exceed five percent (51/6) of the tots! funds <br />awarded from the trust fund for the project. <br />Funds disbursed to the Recipient by the Department that are not expended in <br />implementing the project shall be returned to the Department, along with interest <br />earned on the funds, within ninety (90) days of the expiration of the award <br />Agreement. <br />(The bottom portion of this page intentionally left blank.) <br />21 <br />
