The tenor "Owner" means the Owner or <br />the Owner's authorized representative. <br />2.1.2 The Owner shall furnish to the Contractor within fifteen days alter receipt of a written request, information necessary <br />and relevant for the Contractor to evaluate, give notice: of or enforce ankrnechanic's lien rights against pgyment or performance <br />bonds. Such information shall include a correct statement of the record legal title to lite propery on which lite Project is <br />located, usually referred to as lite site, and the Owner's interest therein. <br />2.2 INFORMATION AND SERVICES REQUIRED OF THE OWNER <br />2.2.1 "fire Onvncr shall, at lite written request of the Contractor, prior to commencement of the Work and thereafter. furnish <br />to the Contractor reasonable evidence that financial arrangements have been made to fulfill the Owner's paymcnl obligations <br />under the Contract. Furnishing of such evidence shall be a condition precedent to commencement orewfinuation of lite Work. <br />Aller such evidence has been furbished, the Owner shall not materially vary such financial arrangements without prior notice to <br />the Contractor, <br />2.2.2 Except for permits and fees, including those required tinder Subparagraph 3.7.1. which are the responsibility of the <br />Contractor under the Contract Documents, the Owner shall secure and pay lar necessary approvals, easements, assessments and <br />charges required for construction, use or occupancy of permanent strictures or for pernnancnt changes in existing facilities. <br />2.2.3 The Owner shall furnish surveys describing physical characteristics, legal limilations and utility locations for the site of <br />the Project, and a legal description of lite site. The Contractor shall be entitled to rely on the .accuracy of information furnished <br />by the Owner but shall exercise proper precautions relating to the safe performance of the Work. <br />2.2.4 Information or services required of the Chvner by the Contract Documents shall be furnished by the Owner with <br />reasonable promptness.
