40 <br />40 <br />OID <br />Figure 6-4 <br />MEDIA RELEASE D <br />Evacuation Notice <br />The Indian (=liver County Board of County Commissioners has issued an order directing <br />the immediate evacuation of <br />Local Emergency Services authorities have begun the evacuation of this area. This <br />evacuation order was issued in response to the reported release of hazardous materials <br />by <br />Persons living in the affected area should follow the instructions given below: <br />Take the following items with you: <br />a. Two (2) blankets per person, or a sleeping bag.. <br />b. Change of clothing. <br />C. Important papers (checkbook, etc.) <br />d. Medicine, particularly special medication. <br />e. Toilet articles. <br />2. Lock your home. Turn off electricity, gas and water. <br />3 Go to Follow the evacuation <br />route nearest you. Do not move against traffic. <br />4. Time is important, but move safely. <br />5. Persons not having transportation should notify the <br />fa. Persons immediately outside of the affected area are not subject to z <br />direct hazard; however, these persons should remain alert to any possible <br />changes in instructions resulting from changes in wind direction or <br />accident conditions. Stay by your radio or TV. Persons outside the <br />affected area are also asked not to travel on or near routes being used for <br />evacuation.
