M <br />40 <br />i <br />SECTION 00020 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Scaled bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on 4uly 11.2000. Each bid <br />shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall hear the name and address of the bidder on the <br />outside and the words "Sebastian Water Expansion Phase 213". All bids, either mailed or walked <br />in, will be received by the Purchasing Division, 2625 19°i Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida where <br />they will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., of the <br />day specified above, will be returned unopened. <br />UTILITIES ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. UW -97 -13 -DS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID # 2454 <br />CONSTRUCTION OF SEBASTIAN WATER ASSESSMENT PHASE 2D <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be strict accordance with the <br />plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining therlo, which may be obtained from the <br />Indian River County Utilities Department, 1840 250" Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960 (561-567- <br />8000 - Fxt. 1821). Copies of the plans and the specifications containing the necessary contract <br />documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to Indian River County, in the <br />amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.90) for each set, which represents cost of printing„ <br />handling and mailing and is non refundable. <br />All bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Proposal forms provided within the <br />specifications. A Ii111 BOND must accompany each Bid, and be properly executed by the Bidder <br />and by a qualified surety, or certified check or cashier's check on any bank authorised to do <br />business in the State of Florida, in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount <br />of bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event the <br />Contract is awarded to the Bidder, he will enter into a Contract with the County and furnish the <br />required Performance and Payment Bond.
