Prado — Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: February 22, 2024 <br />SUBJECT: Notice of Extension to Contract for Construction of Required Roadway <br />Improvements (Re: Right -Of -Way Permit No. 2022031525) <br />Restoration (Removal of Temporary Construction Entrance) <br />Project: Lucaya Pointe <br />Developer: GRBK GHO Lucaya Pointe, LLC <br />By Resolution No. 2019-089 adopted on October 1, 2019, the Board of County <br />Commissioners delegated to the County Administrator or his designee, the authority to <br />execute extensions to Contracts for Construction of Required Roadway Improvements for <br />work to be performed under Section 312.11 of the Code of Indian River County, so long <br />as the approval signature of the Public Works Director appeared on the extension <br />document and that notice of such extension is presented as an informational item on a <br />future agenda of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />For your information, an extension document has been entered into between GRBK GHO <br />Lucaya Pointe, LLC and Indian River County, whereby the date for completion of the <br />roadway improvements for the restoration (removal of temporary construction entrance) <br />to 41St Street within County right-of-way relating to the Lucaya Pointe project has been <br />extended to February 23, 2025. Additionally, the supporting security consisting of Cash <br />has been amended to extend the expiration date to February 23, 2025 and reflects the <br />additional cash in the amount of $1,579.98 posted by the Developer; now showing the <br />cash deposited into escrow with the county in the amount of $9,790.12, as reflected in the <br />new certified cost estimate. <br />13 <br />7,13, <br />
