I. Welcome to Parks, Recreation and Conservation <br />Indian River County Parks, Recreation and Conservation (PRC) Department is managed as a <br />department under the direction of the Director of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, the <br />Deputy County Administrator, and the County Administrator. <br />The Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department strives to develop a professional and <br />friendly workforce who stands ready to serve our residents and community through excellent <br />customer service, exceptional facilities, and enriching programs. The Department consists of <br />the following units: <br />• Aquatics Division <br />• Beach Parks/Ocean Rescue <br />• Conservation Lands Division <br />• Donald MacDonald Campgrounds <br />• Intergenerational Recreation (IG) Center <br />• Indian River County Fairgrounds <br />• Indian River County Public Shooting Range <br />• Parks Maintenance Division <br />• Recreation Division <br />• OF/IFAS Agriculture Extension <br />For the purposes of this document, the term "County" refers to Indian River County, the term <br />"Department" refers to Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department, and the term "Parks" <br />includes all parks, grounds, and conservation lands, unless otherwise specified. <br />1 <br />210 <br />
