Director Baird explained that the 1996/97 proposed charge for <br />Vero Lakes Estate MSTU of $17.00 per parcel acre is a $2.00 <br />increase over last year's per parcel acre charge. <br />Chairman Adams asked if anyone from the public wished to <br />comment on any of the Non -Ad Valorem Assessment Districts. <br />Theresa Cavanaugh, 9180 101 Court, president of Vero Lakes <br />Estate Homeowners Association, was pleased that the county is <br />planning to put more street lights in the community and spoke in <br />favor of the reasonable increase ($2) in the proposed charge. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard on any <br />of the other districts and the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously adopted <br />all proposed Non -Ad Valorem charges as listed above <br />(numbers 1 through 17) for FY 1996/97. <br />Approve Non -Ad Valorem Dollar Budgets <br />Administrator Chandler announced the proposed dollar budgets <br />for each Ad Valorem Dollar Fund as follows: <br />1. <br />Housing Authority <br />$95,340 <br />2. <br />Special Revenue Funds <br />$26,254,738 <br />3. <br />Other Debt Service Fund <br />$1,389,215 <br />4. <br />Capital Projects <br />$9,527,223 <br />5. <br />Enterprise Funds <br />$26,387,524 <br />6. <br />Internal Service Funds <br />$2,488,869 <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />Director Baird advised that the budgets as read aloud by <br />Administrator Chandler can be adopted this year in one motion. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted the <br />the tentative budgets for the Non -Ad Valorem Dollar <br />Budgets for FY 1996/97, as read aloud by <br />Administrator Chandler. <br />9 <br />September 4, 1996 <br />
